Our Open Days

Do you want to find out what goes into the day-to-day operations at the Great North Air Ambulance Service? Well, our GNAAS Open Days are officially up and running! These exciting events offer a unique opportunity for children and adults alike to explore our headquarters and learn more about the life-saving work that our team carry out across the region.

Don’t miss the chance to explore our state-of-the-art facilities with a talk in our conference room. And, of course, no visit would be complete without a photo of our helicopter!

How much does it cost?

There is a small cost of £2.50 per person on our open days.

How long does an open day last?

Our open days usually last approximately one and a half hours, and include a full tour of our facilities, and if possible, a chance to grab a photo with our helicopter!

Will there be refreshments?

Absolutely! Refreshments will be provided at all GNAAS Open Days.

Is there accessible parking?

Yes, we have a large car park and multiple accessible car parking spaces at our headquarters.

Are dogs allowed to be at open days?
