Festive Wreath-Making Workshop

You don’t have to be a master florist to create a beautiful decoration for your front door this Christmas.

Join the Great North Air Ambulance Service and Fiori Flowers at the Great North Air Ambulance Service headquarters, near Eaglescliffe, this November for an enjoyable and relaxed way to get into the festive spirit.

This special workshop will give you the know-how and materials, fresh from the garden, to craft your wreath.

And, with seasonal drinks and canapes provided, plus Christmas stalls to browse, you’ll leave with a warm, festive feeling – regardless of the weather outside.

Tickets cost £49.50 and include materials, a warming drink and Christmas canapes – as well as your beautiful wreath to decorate your door.

Helen Jamieson, Fiori Flowers

Fiori is a long established family business, with a wealth of experience going back three generations. Design Director Helen has worked all over the World, from South Africa to Iceland, demonstrating her design skills and floral flair. She has won UK Florist of the Year and went on to compete in the world final in Tokyo, Japan.

Great North Air Ambulance Service

Progress House is home to the Great North Air Ambulance Service. As well as being the fundraising hub for the charity, the building is the North East airbase for the critical care team. From here, specialist pre-hospital care doctors and paramedics fly across the North in the region’s helicopter to help those who need it most.

As well as being a fun day out, by getting crafty this Christmas you’ll be helping us provide critical care across the region every day of the year.

Kick-start your Christmas shopping at Progress House! We’ll be host to festive market stalls for you to browse after your wreath-making session. Explore local food, drink, crafts and produce, a glass of mulled wine in hand. Stalls include:
