The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to Great Borne near Buttermere at 1.25pm yesterday, where a woman had fallen and sustained a head injury. The woman, in her 70s, was assessed by the GNAAS doctor and paramedic team before being flown to West Cumberland Hospital in Whitehaven within seven minutes. .
