DESIGNER wedding dresses will be sold at rock bottom prices at a fair spanning the next two weekends.
The event will raise money for the Great North Air Ambulance Service, which operates the Pride of Cumbria aircraft from Langwathby, near Penrith.
Taking place in the Washington Square Shopping Centre in Workington, the wedding sale takes place this Saturday and Sunday, as well as the following weekend. On the Saturdays, the event will be open from 9am to 5pm and on the Sunday the shows will be open from 10am to 4pm.
As well as the dozens of designer dresses being sold off, there will also be displays by local florists Inspirations, Custom Cakes by Debbie Louise, Finishing Touches chair covers, Cockermouth Sweets, and photographer Karen Jones. A voucher for photography, as well as one from Amethyst Health and Beauty, will be raffled off and there will also be a free prize draw with a free night’s stay at Winder Hall Hotel up for grabs.
Entry is free, all are welcome. All proceeds from the dress sales and raffle will go to the charity.
