A DRIVER who was trapped inside his car which left a busy road and hit a tree has been taken to hospital. The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to the crash which happened at around 11am on A171 Middlesbrough Road, Guisborough, today (Feb 26). The 35-year-old man was released from his car by fire crews at the scene.
A DRIVER who was trapped inside his car which left a busy road and hit a tree has been taken to hospital.
The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to the crash which happened at around 11am on A171 Middlesbrough Road, Guisborough, today (Feb 26).
The 35-year-old man was released from his car by fire crews at the scene. He had suffered serious leg injuries.
Once treated by the GNAAS doctor-led crew, they accompanied the patient to Middlesbrough’s James Cook University Hospital in a road ambulance where he arrived in a stable condition.
