A MOTORCYCLIST was injured after a collision with a car in Northumberland. The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to the incident which happened just south of Rothbury at 2.55pm yesterday (August 30). The 26-year-old man, from Ashington, was assessed and treated by the GNAAS doctor-led trauma team for serious leg and pelvis injuries before being flown to Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital within 11 minutes. The patient arrived in a stable condition. .
