A MAN suffered life-threatening injuries after falling two storeys in Stanley. The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to the incident at 9:10am on August 5. The man, believed to be in his 40s, sustained serious multiple injuries and the GNAAS doctor-led trauma team gave the patient a blood transfusion en-route to hospital in the helicopter.
