A MAN was airlifted to hospital after suffering a cardiac arrest at Hadrian’s Wall on Sunday. The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to the incident at Housesteads Roman Fort, Haydon Bridge, on Sunday at 3.30pm. The 67-year-old man was resuscitated by the GNAAS doctor-led team before being flown to Newcastle’s Royal Victoria Infirmary within 15 minutes, where he arrived in a critical but stable condition..
