A man in his forties was airlifted this morning after sustaining a serious head injury at a farm near Blubberhouses, North Yorkshire.
The Great North Air Ambulance Service was called in to assist the Yorkshire Ambulance Service.
GNAAS brought a doctor and paramedic to the scene.
Together, they treated the patient before transferring him to the helicopter.
The patient was then flown to Leeds General Infirmary, where he arrived in a stable condition.
GNAAS was called at 9.20am.
The flight from scene to hospital took just ten minutes.
