The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to a man who had fallen around 2.5m from a roof in Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria. The GNAAS team was called to attend the incident by North West Ambulance Service crews. The GNAAS doctor-led crew assessed the man, in his 50s, for back injuries.

The GNAAS doctor-led crew assessed the man, in his 50s, for back injuries. The helicopter landed at Barrow hospital and transported the patient to Preston. The flight took 16 minutes and he arrived in a stable condition.
