Man airlifted from Whitby after cardiac event


The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to Whitby at 10.20am yesterday, after a man suffered a cardiac event. The man, in his 50s, was assessed and treated by the GNAAS trauma team before being flown to James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough within 11 minutes.

The man, in his 50s, was assessed and treated by the GNAAS trauma team before being flown to James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough within 11 minutes. He arrived in a serious but stable condition.
