Yesterday at 4.15pm we were called to a remote location on Bleaberry Fell, near Keswick, where a male, believed in his 70s, had fallen down a gully while out walking.
Yesterday at 4.15pm we were called to a remote location on Bleaberry Fell, near Keswick, where a male, believed in his 70s, had fallen down a gully while out walking. He was found to have head injuries. We worked closely with Keswick Mountain Rescue Team and North West Ambulance Service in the rescue of the man, who was then flown to the Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle for further treatment. The flight took 14 minutes and the man was stable on arrival.
