A lottery syndicate has donated £250 to the Great North Air Ambulance Service in memory of their former member and friend, Brian Moore.
Brian died suddenly in June. The 49-year-old, originally from Darlington, was a member of the Waha Desert Boys Lottery Syndicate, made up of work mates from the Waha Oil Company in Libya.
The syndicate is made up of James Pettigrew, Thomas Wood, James Nisbet, Tony Linstead, Joe & Consuelo Szalaj, Brian Hovington, Sean Owen Brown, Nigel Paine, Harry Kilpatrick, Bill Brucker, Malcolm Dinsdale, Jackie Gow, Martin Xerxen, Andrew Murray, Patrick & Maureen Shacklock, Ian Cullen, Jeff Barret, Anthony Garland, Wallace Drummond, Stephen Sclater, William Halsall.
Brian’s family wished the donation to come to GNAAS because of the charity’s contribution to the local area and the fact it is not funded by the Government.
