There is one last chance to buy raffle tickets in a bid to win a brand new car and support the Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS).
The car is the top prize in the charity’s annual life-saving raffle.
One lucky person can scoop a red Suzuki Alto, worth £5999.
There is just over a week to go as the closing date for entries is November 15th.
The winner will be drawn on December 2nd and therefore an extra special Christmas treat is in store for the winner.
The second prize is an overnight stay at Rockliffe Hall, a luxury hotel golf and spa resort, and the third prize is the chance to pocket £100.
In its two previous years, the raffle has contributed a total of more than £200,000 to the air ambulance, which is entirely dependent on donations to survive.
Because the raffle is run by the charity itself, every penny raised goes towards supporting the life-saving service. It operates out of its two bases at Durham Tees Valley Airport near Darlington and at Langwathby, near Penrith.
Tickets are just £1 and can be bought in books of 12 over the phone on 01325-487263.
GOOD LUCK!
