It was a busy weekend for both of our crews. Here are just a few of the incidents we attended over the bank holiday weekend:

On Sunday at 6.30pm we were called to Morpeth where a man, believed to be in his 30s, had sustained a leg injury. We worked alongside NEAS to assess and treat the patient before flying him to the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle. The flight took 17 minutes and he arrived in a stable condition.
On Monday at 1pm we were called to Stockton where a man had been involved in a collision with a car. We worked alongside the NEAS to assess and treat the patient before he was taken to James Cook University Hospital by a NEAS road crew, accompanied by the GNAAS paramedic and doctor team.
Later on Monday at 2.30pm we were called to assist North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) in Garstang where a male motorcyclist, believed to be in his 20s, was involved in a collision with a car.
