A WOMAN was airlifted to hospital after falling from her horse in Sadberge, Darlington, this morning. The 31-year-old woman, from Darlington, suffered a shoulder and neck injury. The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to assist North East Ambulance Service, who were already at the scene, at around 10:30am. The GNAAS doctor-led aircrew assessed and treated the patient before she was flown to James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough within 8 minutes..
