A clay pigeon shooting event will raise money for the Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS).
North East Shooting will host the fundraiser at its site in Beamish, near The Causey Arch Inn on August 20, starting at 10am and ending around 2pm, with all proceeds going to GNAAS.
Tickets for the event cost £25 per person with inclusive gun hire, 25 shots and clay pigeons, safety equipment and one-to-one tuition. Ticket holders will also receive a ten per cent discount voucher off food at The Causey Arch Inn, Beamish.
Event organiser, Matt Lumley, said: “This shooting event allows people to take part in something that they wouldn’t normally think of doing.
“The shooter will get full tuition from experts on the day, so along with fundraising for a great cause, they are learning new skills themselves.”
Mandy Drake, head of fundraising at GNAAS, said: “We would like to thank Matt and the North East Shooting team for organising this event for the charity.
“This is a great opportunity for people to try something different, or do something that they already enjoy, whilst fundraising for GNAAS which will help to keep the aircraft operating in the region.”
