The Great North Air Ambulance Service was called to an elderly woman who had fallen down the stairs and then went into cardiac arrest at her home in Sedgefield at 4:24pm yesterday (Feb 25). The patient was resuscitated and treated by GNAAS aircrew and then flown to James Cook University Hospital in seven minutes..
