An ANZAC Day Party on April 25 in Lazonby Village Hall, Cumbria, in memory of Pete Coutts (originally from new Zealand) helped raise funds jointly for Eden Animal Rescue and the Great North Air Ambulance Service with each charity receiving £800. The money was raised from ticket sales, a raffle and auction along with donations.  Music came from Adam Teasdale, food from lots of helpers, and there were even six ladies performing the Haka. Fancy dress appearances from the likes of Dame Edna and Sir Les Pattinson also added to the fun.

GNAAS would like to thank all those involved in the event for their generosity. The money will be spent supporting the work of our aircraft.
