Air ambulance called to road traffic collision in Wolsingham


The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) responded to reports of a serious road traffic collision at Wolsingham, County Durham, on Saturday. The Guardian of the North aircraft flew from its Teesside base to the incident. Two people were assessed by the doctor-led crew. A spokesman for GNAAS said: “Thankfully the injuries were not as severe as first reported and following assessment by the doctor-led crew, two patients were cleared to travel by road in the care of road paramedics.”.
