We’re still flying
When they aren’t responding to an emergency, our critical care teams are preparing themselves for working throughout the pandemic.
We have provided them with the clothing and equipment necessary to protect themselves against the virus. This means that we can continue to respond to critical care emergencies even if the situation significantly worsens.
As with everything our teams do, these preparations have only been possible with the support of the public. Please continue supporting your local air ambulance, so we can continue to be there when we’re needed.

Events
At present, the remainder of our events in 2020 are going ahead as planned, but we encourage supporters to check our website and social media channels regularly for further updates.
Community fundraising
The charity has taken the decision to cancel its community-based fundraising activities for the foreseeable future. This includes talks and collections and is likely to have a significant impact on the organisation’s income.
Operational relocation
The charity has postponed the planned move of its operational team from Teesside International Airport to its new headquarters at Eaglescliffe. This will not affect its ability to respond in the event of an emergency.
Our offices
Our Eaglescliffe office is now closed to the public. Fundraising team members are continuing to work from home in normal office hours.
