Scores of competitors went head to head at GNAAS’ second It’s A Knockout competition.
The event was rearranged from July 8th when heavy downpours forced cancellation.
But the weather held last weekend when nine teams took on the challenge at Darlington Rugby Club. A family fun day was also taking place at the same time to raise money for the charity.
The competition was by Cummins, an Engineering firm based in Darlington.
Sarah Zissler, from GNAAS, who organised the event, said: “It went really well. We’ve had good feedback from all the teams, they really enjoyed it.
“Our new mascot bear also made an appearance which went well with the children. The event raised more than £6,000 so thanks to everyone who took part and supported the event.”
Also part were Rockliffe Hall Resort, Student Loans Company, Barclays Bank, PetPals, Hytork UK from Cramlington, Wilkinson and Francis Brown.
