An elderly man was airlifted to Furness General Hospital after falling seriously ill at home in Millom, Cumbria.
The Pride of Cumbria aircraft, based at Langwathby near Penrith, responded to the incident, which took place yesterday afternoon.
The GNAAS doctor and paramedic team worked alongside the North West Ambulance Service’s road crew at the scene.
The 86-year-old man was stable upon arrival at hospital.
