We’ve got three fantastic prizes up for grabs in our month-long raffle, which have all been kindly donated by local companies.

Tickets cost just £1 each and can be bought online in books of five.

Here we take a closer look at what you could win:

Break away in Cumbria

You could win a three-night stay at the wonderful Orchard House, one of ten luxury holiday cottages situated within the grounds of the award-winning Tottergill Farm, located in Castle Carrock, Brampton.

The picturesque cottage is attached to the main farmhouse, which is on a private 48-acre estate in the tranquil Cumbrian countryside, and sleeps up to six people, making it the perfect place for a family getaway. If you’re a dog owner, don’t worry you can bring up to two dogs with you – as long as they’re well-behaved.

On arrival you’ll be welcomed with fresh flowers, good Cumbrian coffee, home-made cake and other little treats to get your stay off to a lovely start.

Complimentary Eco Luxe toiletries from Pure Lakes can also be found in the cottage.

On the first floor there’s an open plan kitchen, dining and living room for guests to relax and unwind in, and a separate laundry room and WC.

​The kitchen is well equipped for those who fancy cooking, and the living area also has a wood burning stove and a flat screen TV with DVD Player to ensure your break is luxurious and cosy.

There are three bedrooms including the master bedroom which has a super king bed and en suite bathroom with a beautiful bath. There is another super king bed that can be made into a twin, plus a cosy King size bedroom and additional house bathroom.

The cottage boasts bi-folding doors that open up onto a beautiful glass enclosed balcony that offers stunning views down to the reservoir and its very own private hot tub.

​You also have free use of the leisure facilities at The Crown Hotel in Wetheral which is located nearby.

​​​Overnight Stay and Spa at Middleton Lodge

Middleton Lodge are offering an overnight stay for two at one of their Dairy Hot Tub rooms, including dinner and continental breakfast plus a day retreat at their Forest Spa, which includes a two-hour treatment ritual for each guest, bathing experience, two course lunch and facility use.

Middleton Lodge is a 200-acre privately owned estate located near Richmond, North Yorkshire, making it the perfect place for a relaxing countryside escape.

The Dairy Hot Tub rooms are one of several individually designed room types on the estate. In each room you’ll find a super king bed, a freestanding bath tub and a separate walk-in shower. There’s also an in-room safe, Nespresso machine, a radio, TV, minibar, bathrobes, telephone and free Wifi.

One of the main features of these cosy elegant rooms is their large floor to ceiling French doors which open straight out onto a lush private garden, with a little seating area and huge tin hot tub, which can be filled from fresh spring water from the estate.

After a restful night you can spend the day connecting to nature in the newly opened Forest Spa, which features a heated outdoor pool and hot tub, thermal spa with sauna, steam room and plunge pool.

You and your guest will also be pampered with a two-hour treatment of your choosing to help you relax and unwind and enjoy a 45-minute ‘bathing experience’ in one of their bath huts, which have log burning stoves and tin tubs.
