The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to Middleham near Leyburn at 1.50pm today, after reports of a male who had been found in the road with head injuries. The 33-year-old man was assessed and treated by the GNAAS doctor-led trauma team and Yorkshire Ambulance Service paramedics, before being taken to James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough, within 12 minutes, where he arrived in a stable condition..
