The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to Belsay, near Ponteland, to a woman in her 60s who was suffering from severe abdominal pain. The GNAAS doctor and paramedic team attended to the woman at 1.10pm yesterday where she was treated at the scene, before being taken to the Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital by North East Ambulance Service. .
