The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to Ogle, north-west of Ponteland at around 2.25pm yesterday, where a teenager had fallen from a horse. The 15-year-old suffered a severe head injury and after treatment by the GNAAS doctor-led trauma team, was flown to Newcastle’s Royal Victoria Infirmary within eight minutes, where she arrived in a serious condition..
