The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to Helmsley Moor in North Yorkshire after a motorcyclist collided with a deer. The GNAAS doctor-led trauma team was dispatched to the scene at around 1pm on October 29. A man in his 50s was assessed and treated for his injuries before he was flown to James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough within 11 minutes.
