A WOMAN was injured after her car crashed into a wall in Rydal, near Grasmere, yesterday (August 21). The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to the scene of the incident at 6.20pm. The GNAAS doctor-led trauma team assessed the 58-year-old female driver for a serious chest inury and a hand injury. The patient was flown to the Royal Preston Hospital in a flight which took 24 minutes where she arrived in a stable condition..
