The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to a crash involving one car on the A591, south of Keswick, yesterday. The aircraft was scrambled at 4.10pm. The GNAAS doctor-led trauma team worked alongside North West Ambulance Service, police, fire and rescue and the Coastguard, to free the 60-year-old from his car and treat his injuries, which after assessment, were found to be non-life-threatening.
