A MOTORCYCLIST has been airlifted to hospital after he fell from his bike at Wark, Northumberland. The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to the scene at 3:30pm yesterday. The man, in his 50s, had sustained a leg and shoulder injury and was flown to Newcastle’s Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle within 15 minutes, where he arrived in a stable condition.
