Just after 4.00pm yesterday, we were called to Walker, Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, to assist a man who had fallen and suffered serious head injuries in a house. GNAAS was called to assist North East Ambulance Service with treating the 68-year-old. The doctor-led aircrew assessed and anaesthetised the patient before he was transferred to the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle by road ambulance. He arrived in a stable condition.
