Today we have been in Darlington town centre promoting our revamped weekly lottery.
The GNAAS lottery is a vital income stream as it covers around a quarter of our annual running costs. By playing you are keeping our helicopters and medical team in the sky and saving lives.
We were down on Northgate, opposite Next, and discussed the charity’s all-new syndicate options and £500 jackpot with passing shoppers. We took it in turns to man the stall and encourage individuals to help raise vital funds.
Miles the Bear was a hit with the crowds and handed out balloons and stickers to excitable children.
Those that signed up on the day will be put into a draw to win a hamper and the lucky participant will be chosen on Wednesday 24.
All in all, it was a great success with lots of new lottery players now hoping to win a cash prize.
