A 64-year-old woman has been taken to hospital after a fall in Northumberland. The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to Alnmouth at 2.25pm on December 27 where the woman had fallen and sustained a leg injury. The doctor-led crew assessed and assisted the patient before she was transported by road ambulance to the Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital in Cramlington.
