Emergency crews attended to a road crash on the A595 road in north Cumbria. The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to the scene at 9:06am on October 19. A 36-year-old Penrith woman was assessed by the GNAAS aircrew and North West Ambulance Service.

The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to the scene at 9:06am on October 19.
A 36-year-old Penrith woman was assessed by the GNAAS aircrew and North West Ambulance Service. However despite initial concerns, she had sustained non life-threatening injuries and was therefore able to be transferred to Cumberland Infirmary, Carlisle, by road.
