A motorcyclist has been flown to hospital following a crash at Troutbeck Bridge near Windermere. The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to the scene at 1:25pm on August 31. The 41-year-old male rider fell from his bike and into a verge.
A motorcyclist has been flown to hospital following a crash at Troutbeck Bridge near Windermere.
The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to the scene at 1:25pm on August 31.
The 41-year-old male rider fell from his bike and into a verge. He sustained back injuries and after an examination by the GNAAS doctor-led crew, he was flown to Furness General Hospital, Barrow, for on-going treatment. The flight took 12 minutes and he arrived in a stable condition.
GNAAS worked alongside North West Ambulance Service.
