A FARMER was seriously injured in the chest by a cow near Brampton, Carlisle. The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to the scene at 10am on August 16. The 57-year-old man was stabilised by a GNAAS doctor and paramedic, before he was flown to the major trauma centre at Newcastle’s RVI.

The 57-year-old man was stabilised by a GNAAS doctor and paramedic, before he was flown to the major trauma centre at Newcastle’s RVI. The flight took 17 minutes and he arrived in a stable condition.
