A young boy has been flown to hospital after a collision with a car in Branksome, Darlington. The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to the scene at 3:50pm on August 13. The 11-year-old boy, who was riding a bike, sustained head, back and leg injuries.

The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) was called to the scene at 3:50pm on August 13.
The 11-year-old boy, who was riding a bike, sustained head, back and leg injuries. After treatment by the GNAAS team, he was flown to James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough in a stable condition. The flight took just 7 minutes.
