A pedestrian was crushed between a car and a wall at Ambleside, Cumbria, yesterday (Apr 27). The 48-year-old man suffered serious chest injuries. He was treated at the scene by the Great North Air Ambulance Service and North West Ambulance Service paramedics before being flown to the Major Trauma Centre at Royal Preston Hospital.
