A walker fell and sustained head and arm injuries at Langdale, Cumbria, at around 2:00pm yesterday (Apr 26). The 59-year-old man, from Norfolk, was treated at the scene and flown to Furness General Hospital in Barrow. The flight took 10 minutes and he arrived in a stable condition.
