The Great North Air Ambulance Service was called to a man who was trapped in an overturned car after it had collided with a parked car at Cleator Moor. The GNAAS team were called at 16.09pm yesterday (Mar 11), where a elderly driver was trapped and was released by fire crews at the scene. He was assessed by the aircrew team and then transported to hospital by ambulance.
