A woman sustained a limb-threatening leg injury after falling on steps at Wombleton, North Yorkshire yesterday (Nov 2nd). GNAAS doctor-led trauma team used strong painkilling and sedating medication to stabilise the patient’s injury, before she was flown to James Cook University Hospital for specialist care. The flight took 10 minutes.
