A man was airlifted from the A69 at Haltwhistle after a car collided with a lorry at around 11:30am today (Wed). The Great North Air Ambulance Service doctor and paramedic team helped North East Ambulance Service with two patients and treated a 69-year-old man, from Carlisle, for serious chest injuries. The man was then flown to Newcastle’s RVI.
A man was airlifted from the A69 at Haltwhistle after a car collided with a lorry at around 11:30am today (Wed).
The Great North Air Ambulance Service doctor and paramedic team helped North East Ambulance Service with two patients and treated a 69-year-old man, from Carlisle, for serious chest injuries.
The man was then flown to Newcastle’s RVI. The flight took 26 minutes and he arrived in a stable condition.
