The Great North Air Ambulance Service was called to the aid of a woman who suffered a serious leg injury at Whitby, North Yorkshire, at 1pm today (Wed). GNAAS worked alongside Yorkshire Ambulance Service before the woman, from Newcastle, was flown to James Cook University Hospital in a stable condition.
